These are our suggestions for the prepared motions. The two motions with most votes win!

THW redraw the borders of ex-colonies.
THW always support the political center.
TH supports the developement and use of advanced artificial intelligence.
THW impose open border policy on countries that are frequent recipients of migrants and refugees from war-torn regions.
TH supports global maximum wealth limit for individuals.
THBT NATO does more harm than good.
THW join Asian infrastrucure investment bank.
THBT the West should not import food from nations with chronic food shortages.
Thw stop funding scientific research that is geared purely towards theoretical advances in the discipline (like CERN)
THW make all international resolutions and treaties legally binding on members of the UN (scrapping the need for ratification by national legislatures).
TH supports large-scale trade agreements, e.g. TTIP.
TH supports the rise of China.

Alfred Charles Snider: I am the Director of the World Debate Institute and the Edwin Lawrence Professor of Forensics, University of Vermont. I teach argumentation, persuasion, debate and related courses. I have: 40+ years experience, taught in 44 countries, trained from 51 countries, managed international conferences, hosted many debate tournaments, published or edited over 50 books, received many national and international awards for debate coaching and training, hosted 480+ television programs, done radio for 17 years, managed many busy websites (debate.uvm.edu), and used virtual reality for debate. At Brown University I was third at the USA National Debate Tournament and second at the USA National Tournament of Champions in 1972.
